JACKIE FISHER

Jackie Fisher began her writing journey by participating in writing classes and workshops at Writers and Books, a literary center in Rochester NY, and by attending SCBWI workshops. She also participates in three writers’ groups. Previously, Jackie was a public school educator, teaching children in primary grades and in special education settings. She advised teachers preparing for Special Education Certification at Mount St. Mary’s University. Jackie currently volunteers for an AAUW project to send seventh-grade girls to a weeklong science and math camp. She lives with her husband in Sierra Madre, CA and Penfield, NY.
