SUSAN WILLIAMS BECKHORN

 

Susan Williams Beckhorn grew up in a home where kids, animals, the outdoors, and books were cherished. As a child, she read while brushing her teeth, walking to school, and by the light of her electric blanket control if a flashlight wasn’t handy. Today, she writes fiction: MG and PBs, about animals, nature, survival, and pre-history. Susan and her husband, Fred, live in western NY in a stone house they built themselves, where they walk in the woods and raise most of their own veggies. They have two daughters (grown-and-flown) and their guys, an 18-month-old grandson (who LOVES books), and two dogs.
