Achut

Achut Deng was born in South Sudan and came to America as a refugee when she was16 years old, a story she recounts in her memoir,Don't Look Back,co-authored withKeely Hutton. Achut is now an American citizen and works a a safety coordinator at ameat-packing plant in South Dakota, where she also resides. Besides being an author,she is also a motivational speaker, and the mother of three sons.
