Joanne Russo Insull is a former teacher and trainer who has worked with children and adults with disabilities. She has written five picture books, a young adult mystery and several short stories. She lives near Wild Wings Bird and Animal Sanctuary near Rochester, NY, has adopted two rescue dogs and feeds a murder of crows who visit her every day.
