Page Level Sponsors Keep Kids Turning Pages
Special thanks to our Page Level ($500-$999) Sponsors for providing much of the funding needed to put on a fantastic Rochester Children’s Book Festival this year. Many of these sponsors will also have tables at the RCBF on November 4th, with fun activities and giveaways. Make sure you stop by to see what they have to offer! Thanks for supporting our celebration of literacy and learning. We couldn’t do it without you!

Library Friends are RCBF Friends
You may not know this, but Monroe County libraries have their own Friends groups, each one dedicated to raising funds and furthering the success of its own library. These Friends groups have been incredibly generous to the Rochester Children’s Book Festival, donating hundreds of dollars each year to make sure our event will happen for the children of our region. We extend our sincere thanks to the Corner Bookstore (Friends of Fairport Public Library), Friends of Seymour Libra

Many thanks to Scholastic (sponsoring Pam Muñoz Ryan and Tui Sutherland), Bloomsbury Children’s Books (sponsoring Nikki Grimes and Jordan Novak), HarperCollins (sponsoring Alyssa Satin Capucilli and Erin Entrada Kelly), Candlewick Press (sponsoring Michelle Knudsen), Macmillan (sponsoring James Preller), Lerner (sponsoring Lisa Wheeler), and Sim

Bringing the RCBF to Rochester City Schools, With the Help of Altrusa
The Festival-To-Go program brings the RCBF to students at Rochester City Schools who might not otherwise be able to attend. RCBF founder Vivian Vande Velde recruits authors and illustrators from Rochester Area Children’s Writers & Illustrators to share their knowledge and enthusiasm with K-6 students at one or two Rochester City Schools each year. The presentations are fun and informative, designed to win over even the most reluctant readers. Volunteers participate year after

Sign Language Interpreters Provide an Incredible Service
For many years now, American Sign Language interpretation students from RIT’s National Technical Institute for the Deaf have volunteered to interpret all presentations at the Rochester Children’s Book Festival. This valuable service provides access to the RCBF for deaf children and their families, and we are grateful to RIT/NTID and their students for donating their time and talents. Please help us spread the word in local schools and Rochester’s deaf community that interpret

Media Sponsors Get the Word Out
KidsOutAndAbout.com, WXXI, and RocParent all use their incredible platforms to share details about the RCBF via the Web, TV, radio, print, and email. We’re so grateful to them for helping us share a love of reading with as many children and families as possible each year. At KidsOutAndAbout.com Conversation Station, come listen to some bestselling authors speak about how their books came to be. In WXXI Read-To-Me Corner, cuddle up and listen to picture book authors read their

Wegmans Comes Through, Year After Year
Wegmans has been a top sponsor of the Rochester Children’s Book Festival since nearly the beginning and even helped us forge a partnership with MCC, the perfect venue, more than a decade ago. Wegmans' annual grants continue to provide the essential funding to make the RCBF possible. One year, when we lost a key sponsor, Wegmans came through to make up the difference. Because of their generosity, along with that of our other sponsors, we can offer the RCBF free of charge to al
